Description

A Bamboo Toothbrush - Cloud White with medium bristles. Now with 62% castor oil and 38% nylon bristles

Every year over a billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away worldwide, ending in landfill, in the sea or washed up on a beach. Using a bamboo toothbrush with a biodegradable handle is a small change, but together we can make a big difference.

  • 100 % Biodegradable handle
  • Organic Bamboo
  • Hygenic
  • Designed in Devon, England
  • All packaging is recyclable
  • Eco friendly
  • Organically farmed

The Truthbrush came from a wish for a toothbrush that was beautiful and luxurious as well as biodegradable.

The rounded ergonomic handle is crafted from sustainable, organic bamboo (Moso Bamboo) which is naturally anti bacterial. This Bamboo is inedible to pandas and comes from an FSC managed sustainable forest in China.

The bristles are DuPont nylon as recommended by dentists, to care for your teeth and gums.

Each Truthbrush is hand wrapped in tissue paper and in a recyclable card pillow pack. Every one is shipped to us, and from us to you, carbon neutrally for minimal environmental impact.

If we all made the switch to using a bamboo toothbrush, just imagine how many plastic toothbrushes we would divert from landfill every year.

(please remember that you will need to remove the bristles from the toothbrush and put in landfill as they contain 38% BPA free nylon).

  • Sustainable bamboo

    62% plant based bristles

    38% nylon

    This means less petroleum-based plastic.

  • Use as you would a normal toothbrush and keep dry when not being used.

We recommend, based on advice from dentists, that you replace your toothbrush every 3 months (although we know the Truthbrush lasts much longer).

After use, please don’t leave standing in water.

To dispose of your toothbrush, please place in your ordinary bin. Over time, all but the bristles will biodegrade, leaving no residue.Alternatively, you can pull out the bristles with a pair of pliers and re-use the Truthbrush in any creative way you can. Plant canes and paint stirrers are just a couple of examples of how you can give your Truthbrush a second life.
